Question:

 

Hi There; I owe Alberta Health & Wellness and Revenue Canada and other debts after a bad marriage. I am considering Bankruptcy, would I be able to include Alberta Health & Wellness in that debt? Rev. Can. I will pay once IM back on my feet. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Samantha

Answer:

 

If you file an assignment into bankruptcy it will include Alberta Health & Wellness and it will also include Revenue Canada. You will need to get more details about your options. The debts that are not discharged or cleared by a bankruptcy include child support and alimony, court fines any criminal charges such as fraud and student loans depending on the last date of attendance at school.
